Product Review: A painful waste of money
I expected to get at least a couple of years with this chair, but I was disappointed with it from the start, and it has rapidly deteriorated to the point where the only thing it is good for now is recycling.
I have used this chair 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for 6 months. This is not unusual for an office chair, especially one which was advertised as being rated for 24 use. I have owned many office chairs, and used even more, and I can say without a doubt that despite being one of the more expensive ones I have sat in, this is the worst.
The build quality is extremely poor for the price; the join between the seat height mechanism and the base of the seat is not stable, which means it wobbles from side to side. The arms are loose, slightly different heights, and wobble in all directions. The lumbar support is hard rubbery plastic and gets quite uncomfortable after a few hours, as does the metal frame on the seat back if you sit at an angle or rest against...
